Marinate seafood
In a bowl, combine squid and shrimp with lime juice (1 tablespoon), soy sauce (1 tablespoon), chili paste (1 tablespoon), minced garlic (2 cloves), and sugar (1/2 teaspoon). Toss to coat and let marinate 10-15 minutes while you prep vegetables.

Thinly slice red and green bell peppers and onion. Roughly chop mint leaves and tear basil leaves; set aside ready to fold in at the end.

Cook peppers and chili
Add bell peppers and red chili slices to the pan; stir-fry until peppers blister and are just tender, 2-3 minutes.

Cook seafood
Add the marinated squid and shrimp to the wok. Stir-fry quickly until squid curls and shrimp turn opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
- 6
Season and finish
Pour in remaining soy sauce (1 tablespoon) and fish sauce (1 tablespoon). Toss with peppers and seafood. Fold in the chopped mint and torn basil; cook just until the herbs wilt. Adjust with additional chili paste if you prefer more heat.
