Chill glass and prepare ice
Place 2 large ice cubes into a rocks glass to chill while you mix the drink.

Combine ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 60 ml bourbon, 15 ml sweet vermouth, 7.5 ml Grand Marnier, and 0.25 tsp Angostura bitters.

Stir with ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

Strain and serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass over the large ice cube.

Garnish
Express the oils of an orange twist over the drink, rim the glass with it, and drop the twist in. Add a Luxardo cherry as garnish.
