Method

Grilled Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fillets are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (approximately 375°F to 400°F).

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the zucchini, bell peppers, and asparagus into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 6

    Season the Vegetables

In a bowl, toss the chopped vegetables with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 7

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the seasoned vegetables on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred.

Hollandaise Sauce

  1. 8

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until it is completely liquid and warm.

  2. 9

    Whisk the Egg Yolks

In a heatproof bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and lemon juice until the mixture is thick and pale.

  3. 10

    Combine and Cook

Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method). Slowly drizzle in the melted butter while whisking constantly until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

  4. 11

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve the hollandaise sauce warm over the grilled salmon and vegetables.
