Preparing the Chicken Wings

Clean the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well.

Coat the Chicken Wings
Dredge the cleaned chicken wings in the flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.
Frying the Chicken Wings

Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chicken Wings
Carefully place the coated chicken wings in the hot oil in batches. Fry for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Drain the Wings
Remove the wings from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Tossing in Sauce

Select the sauce you want to use (barbecue, mild, or sweet hot).

Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, add the fried wings and pour your chosen sauce over them. Toss well until all wings are evenly coated.
Serving

Transfer the sauced wings to a serving platter and enjoy immediately.
