Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Clean the Chicken Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Coat the Chicken Wings

Dredge the cleaned chicken wings in the flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Frying the Chicken Wings

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry the Chicken Wings

Carefully place the coated chicken wings in the hot oil in batches. Fry for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  3. 6

    Drain the Wings

Remove the wings from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Tossing in Sauce

  1. 7

    Choose Your Sauce

Select the sauce you want to use (barbecue, mild, or sweet hot).

  2. 8

    Toss the Wings

In a large bowl, add the fried wings and pour your chosen sauce over them. Toss well until all wings are evenly coated.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Wings

Transfer the sauced wings to a serving platter and enjoy immediately.
