Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Red Rice

In a medium pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of red rice, cover, and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 30-35 minutes or until the rice is tender. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

  2. 2

    Season the Shrimp and Crawfish

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp and crawfish with blackened seasoning, minced garlic, and chipotle chili powder. Toss until well coated.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Seafood

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and crawfish to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve

Place a serving of red rice on each plate and top with the sautéed shrimp and crawfish mixture. Drizzle with habanero sauce to taste.
