Burger Preparation

Form the Patties
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty.

Prepare the Toppings
While the patties are cooking, wash and slice the tomato, onion, and pickles. Tear the lettuce into smaller pieces if necessary.

Assemble the Burger
Toast the brioche buns lightly. Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to make fries.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add a handful of cut potatoes into the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
