Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let sit for 10-12 minutes. Afterward, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the eggs are cooling, thinly slice the red onion and tomato. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Chop the Dill

Finely chop the fresh dill and set aside.

  4. 4

    Peel the Eggs

Once the hard boiled eggs are cool, peel them under running water to make the process easier. Slice them into quarters.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Toast the Bagels

Split the bagels in half and toast them until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Spread Cream Cheese

Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each toasted bagel half.

  3. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On top of the cream cheese, layer the smoked salmon, followed by the capers, sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, and finally the hard boiled eggs.

  4. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the chopped dill over the assembled bagels. Serve immediately while fresh.
