1. Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, finely chopped cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

2. Fill the Dumplings

Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to form a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

3. Prepare for Steaming

Fill a steamer pot with water and bring it to a simmer. Line the steamer basket with parchment paper or lightly oil it to prevent sticking.

4. Steam the Dumplings

Place the filled dumplings in the steamer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching each other. Cover and steam for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and the wrappers are translucent.
