Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the beef thinly against the grain into strips. Marinate the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 15-20 minutes.
Cook the Beef
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes or until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
Stir Fry the Vegetables
In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, stir-frying for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the bell peppers, broccoli, and carrot, cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine and Finish
Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir everything together for another 2 minutes until heated through.
Serve
Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or noodles, if desired.
