Preparation of Ingredients
- 1
Prepare the Cabbage
Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the core. Tear the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Pork Belly
Cut the pork belly into small cubes, about 1-inch pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- 3
Prepare the Aromatics
Mince the garlic and ginger. Chop the green onions, separating the white parts from the green parts.
Cooking
- 4
Cook the Pork Belly
In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork belly and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the pork is browned and crispy.
- 5
Add Aromatics
Add the minced garlic, ginger, and the white parts of the green onions to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 6
Add Cabbage
Add the torn cabbage to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the pork and aromatics.
- 7
Season the Mixture
Pour in the soy sauce and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Continue to stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender but still has a slight crunch.
- 8
Finish and Serve
Remove from heat and garnish with the green parts of the green onions. Serve hot.
