Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Slice the Pork

Thinly slice the pork tenderloin against the grain into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cucumber

Wash the cucumbers and cut them into half-moon slices, about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Mince Garlic and Ginger

Peel and mince the garlic cloves and grate the ginger.

Cooking Process

  1. 4

    Marinate the Pork

In a bowl, combine the sliced pork with soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 6

    Cook the Pork

Add the marinated pork to the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the pork is browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  4. 7

    Stir Fry the Vegetables

In the same pan, add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the cucumber slices and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.

  5. 8

    Combine and Finish

Return the cooked pork to the pan with the cucumbers. Stir well to combine everything, and cook for an additional minute. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  6. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions if desired. Serve hot with steamed rice.
