Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with a paper towel. Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F or 232°C). If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are glowing red and covered with white ash.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the hot grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them, then flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust cooking time to your preference.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and place them on a cutting board. Top with fresh rosemary and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 5

    Chop the Vegetables

While the steak is resting, wash and trim the asparagus, peel and slice the carrots, and chop the red bell pepper into strips.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the prepared vegetables and season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
