Salmon

Lemon Caper Sauce

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, then gently flip the fillets and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Caper Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Add Garlic and Capers

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add the capers and lemon juice, stirring to combine.

  3. 6

    Finish the Sauce

Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Salmon

Place the grilled salmon fillets on a serving plate.

  2. 8

    Add the Sauce

Spoon the lemon caper sauce generously over the grilled salmon.

  3. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately.
