Method

Preparation of Meats and Cheeses

  1. 1

    Slice Meats

Using a sharp knife, slice the salami, prosciutto, and chorizo into thin pieces. Arrange them on a large serving board.

  2. 2

    Cut Cheeses

Cut the brie into wedges, the cheddar into cubes, and crumble the gorgonzola. Place the cheeses on the serving board around the meats.

Making House-made Pickles

  1. 3

    Prepare the Cucumbers

Wash and slice the cucumbers into thin rounds. Set aside.

  2. 4

    Make Pickling Solution

In a pot, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and crushed garlic cloves. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. 5

    Pickle the Cucumbers

Remove the pot from heat, add the sliced cucumbers and dill to the solution. Allow to cool. Once cooled, transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Final Assembly

  1. 6

    Arrange the Board

On the serving board, arrange the sliced meats, cheeses, olives, nuts, and fresh fruits aesthetically. Serve with the house-made pickles on the side.

  2. 7

    Serve

Enjoy the charcuterie board with friends and family, allowing everyone to create their own combinations of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments.
