Chill and optionally add ice
If the glass is not already chilled, place it in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it briefly with cold water, then discard. If you prefer your water extra cold, add 3–6 ice cubes to the glass.

Add garnish (optional)
If using a lemon or lime wedge, cut a thin wheel or wedge and rim the glass with it, then drop it into the glass. Gently slap the mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and tuck it into the glass alongside the ice (if using).

Hold the chilled bottle of Vöslauer Mineralwasser Prickelnd upright. Open the bottle slowly to control the release of carbonation and prevent foaming. Pour the sparkling mineral water gently down the side of the glass to preserve effervescence, filling to approximately 2–3 cm (about 1 inch) from the rim.

Taste and adjust: if you added garnish, give the glass a gentle stir with a spoon to combine aromas without flattening the bubbles. Serve immediately while effervescence is strongest.
