For the Wagyu Beef Patties

For the Sliders

Method

Prepare the Wagyu Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Wagyu beef, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is achieved. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assemble the Sliders

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the slider buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Build the Sliders

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked Wagyu patty with melted cheese. Add a slice of tomato, a few pickles, and drizzle with ketchup and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
