Prepare Simple Syrup

Make Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Allow to cool completely before using.
Mix Cocktail

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Captain Morgan Rum, 1 oz of Jameson Irish Whiskey, 0.5 oz of Licor 43, and 0.5 oz of the prepared brown sugar simple syrup.

Add Bitters
Add 3 dashes of Angostura bitters into the shaker with the other ingredients.

Shake Well
Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice.

Garnish the drink with edible gold flakes to give it a treasure-like appearance.
