Pork Ribs

Mashed Potatoes

Method

Prepare the Ribs

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 350°F to 400°F).

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Rub this spice mixture all over the pork ribs.

  3. 3

    Oil the Ribs

Drizzle olive oil over the seasoned ribs and rub it in to help the spices adhere.

Grill the Ribs

  1. 4

    Grilling Process

Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down. Grill for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally to get a nice char.

  2. 5

    Add BBQ Sauce

During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce generously over the ribs. Close the grill lid to allow the sauce to caramelize.

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

  1. 6

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cube the potatoes. Place them in a large pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 7

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Serve

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Slice the ribs into individual portions and serve alongside a generous scoop of mashed potatoes.
