Cook the Linguini
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the linguini and set aside.
Cooking the Seafood

Sauté the Seafood
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the mussels, clams, shrimp, and scallops to the skillet.

Add Wine and Spices
Pour in the white wine and sprinkle red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper over the seafood. Cover the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels and clams have opened and the shrimp and scallops are cooked through.

Combine Seafood with Pasta
Once the seafood is cooked, add the linguini to the skillet. Toss everything together gently, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to loosen the sauce as needed.

Serve the seafood scampi over the linguini immediately, garnishing with additional parsley if desired.
