Prepare the seafood
Rinse the mussels, clams, and scallops under cold water. Discard any mussels or clams that are open and do not close when tapped. Pat the seafood dry with paper towels.

Cook the linguini
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the sauce base
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add tomatoes and wine
Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes and white wine, stirring to combine. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Season the sauce
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped fresh basil.

To serve, place a portion of linguini on each plate and top with the seafood and sauce. Garnish with additional fresh basil if desired.
