Make the Spice Blend
In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all spices are evenly distributed.

Prepare Chicken Breasts
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil on both sides. Then, generously sprinkle the Cajun spice blend over the chicken, ensuring that each breast is well coated.
- 3
Sear the Chicken
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Place the chicken breasts in the skillet, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Sear for about 6-7 minutes on one side, until a golden crust forms.

Cook the Other Side
Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Prepare Your Sides
While the chicken is cooking, prepare your chosen sides. For steamed broccoli, steam until tender. For mashed potatoes, boil potatoes, mash with butter and milk. For Caesar salad, toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, croutons, and parmesan cheese. For rice, cook according to package instructions.
