Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Start by rinsing the chicken breast under cold water and patting it dry with paper towels.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub the mixture all over the chicken breast, ensuring it is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F or 190°C to 230°C). If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stove.
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Once the grill is hot, place the marinated chicken breast on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side without moving it, until grill marks form.
- 5
Flip the Chicken
Carefully flip the chicken breast over using tongs. Grill for an additional 6-7 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 6
Rest the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken breast from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
- 7
Serve
Slice the grilled chicken breast and serve it as desired. Enjoy your perfectly grilled chicken!
