Prepare Chicken

Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take the chicken breasts and season them with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.

Add Tomatoes and Spices
Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes.

Combine with Chicken
Once the sauce is ready, pour it over the chicken breasts in the baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Add linguini to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
