Certified Angus Beef boneless short rib slowly braised in a roasted onion jus infused with “Sweet Baby Ray’s” BBQ sauce. Plated over mashed potatoes, garlic-spinach and garnished with crispy onions.

Beef Preparation

Sear the Short Ribs
In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium-high heat. Season the boneless short ribs with salt and black pepper. Sear each side of the ribs until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Prepare Braising Liquid
In the same skillet, add chopped roasted onions and minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add the Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and beef broth. Stir well to combine.

Braise the Ribs
Return the seared short ribs back to the skillet with the braising liquid. Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low. Braise for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily shredded.

Mash Potatoes
Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Garlic Spinach Preparation

Sauté Spinach
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add fresh spinach and sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
Plating

Assemble the Dish
On each plate, create a bed of mashed potatoes. Top with a generous serving of braised short ribs along with the BBQ jus. Add sautéed garlic spinach on the side and finish with a sprinkle of crispy fried onions on top.
