Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). While the oven is heating, season the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste. Place the chicken in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

  2. 2

    Shred the Chicken

Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces using two forks.

Assembling the BBQ Chicken Pizza

  1. 3

    Prepare the Dough

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit a 12-inch pizza pan. Transfer the rolled dough to the pan, pressing it down gently to shape it.

  2. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

Spread the BBQ sauce evenly over the surface of the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edge for the crust.

  3. 5

    Layer the Chicken

Evenly distribute the shredded chicken over the BBQ sauce layer.

  4. 6

    Add Vegetables

Sprinkle the diced fresh tomatoes and thinly sliced red onions evenly on top of the chicken.

  5. 7

    Top with Cheese

Combine the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and sprinkle them generously over the pizza, ensuring even coverage.

Baking

  1. 8

    Bake the Pizza

Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.

  2. 9

    Cool and Slice

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
