Fried Gulf Shrimp

1

Prepare the Breading

In one bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the crushed Saltine crackers.

2

Bread the Shrimp

Dip each shrimp in the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the crushed Saltine crackers.

3

Fry the Shrimp

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Slaw

4

Mix the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrot. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.

House Cocktail Sauce

5

Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Adjust seasoning to taste.
