Mojito Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Muddle Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the mint leaves against the sugar. This will release the mint oils and combine them with the sugar, creating a fragrant base for your mojito.

  2. 2

    Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime into wedges and add them to the glass. Muddle the lime wedges gently with the mint and sugar mixture to release the juice.

  3. 3

    Add Rum

Pour the white rum into the glass over the muddled mint, lime, and sugar mixture. Stir gently to combine.

  4. 4

    Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top for the soda.

  5. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice-filled glass, filling it to the top. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish your mojito with an extra mint sprig and a lime wedge, if desired. Serve immediately with a straw.
