Burrata and Bread

Tomato & Garlic Confit

Method

Preparation of Burrata and Bread

  1. 1

    Prepare House Bread

Slice the house bread into thick pieces and arrange them on a serving board.

  2. 2

    Plate Burrata

Gently place the fresh burrata in the center of the serving board next to the sliced bread.

Tomato & Garlic Confit

  1. 3

    Prepare Ingredients

Preheat your wood-fired oven to a temperature of 400°F (200°C). Rinse the cherry tomatoes and set aside. Peel the garlic cloves.

  2. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, peeled garlic cloves, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the tomatoes and garlic are well coated.

  3. 5

    Roast in Oven

Spread the tomato and garlic mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer and place it in the wood-fired oven. Roast for about 15-20 minutes, until the tomatoes are blistered and the garlic is soft.

  4. 6

    Add Fresh Basil

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the fresh basil over the confit while it's still warm.
