In a saucepan or using a milk steamer, heat 1 cup of milk until it is hot but not boiling. If using a frother, froth the milk until you achieve a creamy texture.

Assembly

3. Combine Espresso and Milk

In a coffee cup, pour the brewed decaf espresso. Slowly add the steamed milk over the espresso, allowing the milk to mix slightly while retaining some of the foam on top.
