Preparation Instructions
- 1
Caramelize the Onions
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and a pinch of salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.
- 2
Roast the Garlic
While the onions are caramelizing, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil with a drizzle of olive oil. Roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until soft. Once done, squeeze out the roasted garlic from the skins and set aside.
- 3
Cook the Ribeye
In the same skillet used for the onions, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and increase the heat to medium-high. Add the shaved ribeye and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is cooked through.
- 4
Assemble the Cheesesteak
Once the ribeye is cooked, add the caramelized onions and roasted garlic into the skillet. Mix well to combine. Place the mixture onto the submarine rolls and top with the slices of white American cheese. You can optionally place the assembled rolls back in the skillet to melt the cheese for about 2-3 minutes.

Serve
Remove from heat and serve your Linz Heritage Angus Cheesesteak hot, garnished with additional condiments if desired.
