Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and slice the Yukon Gold potatoes thinly. Boil them in salted water until just tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Mornay Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden. Gradually whisk in the milk and cream, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the Gruyère cheese until melted. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  3. 3

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, gently fold the king crab meat and chives into the mornay sauce. Then, fold in the boiled potatoes.

  4. 4

    Bake

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

  5. 5

    Serve

Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional chives if desired.
