Crispy Brussels Sprouts
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves. Cut them in half.
- 2
Season and Roast
In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- 3
Make the Chili-Garlic Glaze
While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, combine the chili garlic sauce and honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until well mixed and heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.
- 4
Prepare the Parmesan Pureé
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat. Once warm, add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Blend with an immersion blender until creamy and smooth. Adjust with more cream if needed.
- 5
Serve
Once the Brussels sprouts are crispy, remove them from the oven. Drizzle the chili-garlic glaze over the top. Serve with the Parmesan pureé on the side for dipping.
