Pasta and Sauce
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the artisan spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 2
Prepare the Sauce
While the spaghetti is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- 3
Add the Pomodoro Sauce
Pour in the Bianco Dinapoli Pomodoro sauce and stir to combine. Let the sauce simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 4
Season the Sauce
Add salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting according to preference. If desired, add a few torn basil leaves into the sauce for extra flavor.
- 5
Combine Spaghetti and Sauce
Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti. Add the drained spaghetti directly to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat the spaghetti evenly with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
- 6
Serve
Remove from heat and stir in the remaining fresh basil leaves. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
