Cocktail
- 1
Stir and strain
Add 2 oz Stranahan's single malt, 1/2 oz Bénédictine, and 3 dashes Angostura bitters to a mixing glass.
- 2
Fill the mixing glass with plenty of ice (enough to chill without diluting too quickly).
- 3
- 4
Place a large ice cube in a chilled old-fashioned glass (or serve neat in a coupe if preferred).
- 5
Strain the stirred cocktail over the large ice cube (or into the chilled glass).
- 6
Express the oils of the orange peel over the drink by holding the peel skin-side down about 2–3 inches above the surface and giving it a firm twist; then run the peel around the rim and drop it into the drink as garnish.
- 7
Serve immediately.
