1

Prepare glass

Fill a standard copper mule mug or highball glass with ice cubes until roughly three-quarters full (about 1 cup).

2

Add vodka and lime

Pour 1 oz Smirnoff Vodka over the ice, then add 1/2 oz fresh lime juice. If you prefer slightly brighter lime flavor, use up to 3/4 oz.

3

Top with ginger beer

Carefully pour 4 oz Gosling's ginger beer over the vodka and lime to preserve carbonation. Pour slowly down the side of the glass if using a copper mug.

4

Stir gently

Give the drink one or two gentle short stirs with a bar spoon to combine the ingredients without flattening the ginger beer.

5

Garnish and serve

Float a lime wheel on top or place it on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
