Fountain Drink (per serving)

Method

Prepare Glass

  1. 1

    Chill glass (optional)

If desired, place the serving glass in the refrigerator or freezer for 5–10 minutes beforehand to help keep the drink colder longer.

  2. 2

Place the chilled or room‑temperature glass on a stable surface.

  3. 3

Using the ice scoop or tongs, fill the glass with approximately 1 cup of ice cubes. Leave some space at the top so the soda does not overflow when dispensing.

Dispense Coca‑Cola

  1. 4

If using a fountain dispenser: position the glass under the soda outlet and press the lever or button for Coca‑Cola. Tilt the glass slightly (about 20–30°) and begin dispensing to reduce foam. Fill to about 1⁄2 inch (roughly 12 fl oz) from the top.

  2. 5

If using a soda gun or bottle pour: tilt the glass and pour chilled Coca‑Cola gently down the side to minimize foam until you reach about 12 fl oz.

  3. 6

If foam builds up, pause briefly to allow bubbles to subside, then continue dispensing until the desired volume is reached.

Finish & Garnish

  1. 7

Hold the glass upright and leave about 1⁄2 inch headspace to prevent spillage.

  2. 8

Optional: slide a lemon slice onto the rim or drop in a maraschino cherry for garnish.

  3. 9

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
