Method

Dip Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dip

In a mixing bowl, combine the smoked salmon, cream cheese, and sour cream. Using a hand mixer or a fork, blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. 2

    Add Flavorings

Add the fresh dill, lemon juice, red onion, capers, black pepper, and salt to the mixture. Stir until well combined.

  3. 3

    Chill the Dip

Cover the dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Potato Chips Directions

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and scrub the Russet potatoes. Thinly slice them using a mandoline or a sharp knife.

  2. 5

    Soak the Slices

Place the potato slices in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry with a kitchen towel.

  3. 6

    Bake the Chips

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the potato slices with olive oil and sea salt in a large bowl until evenly coated.

  4. 7

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. 8

    Bake Until Crispy

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

  6. 9

    Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving alongside the smoked salmon dip.
