Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Prep Lettuce

Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Grate the Parmesan Cheese

Using a cheese grater, grate the Parmesan cheese until you have about half a cup. Set aside for topping the salad.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the croutons to the bowl with the chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the Caesar dressing over the top of the salad.

Serving

  1. 4

    Toss the Salad

Using salad tongs or two large spoons, gently toss the salad to combine all ingredients evenly, ensuring the lettuce is coated with the dressing.

  2. 5

    Add Parmesan Cheese

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the tossed salad.

  3. 6

    Serve Immediately

Serve the Caesar salad immediately in individual bowls or plates for the best taste and texture.
