Base Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and chop all the chosen fillings. If you are using vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms, dice them into small, even pieces to ensure they cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Whisk the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the three eggs. Add salt and black pepper. Whisk them together until the yolks and whites are fully combined and slightly frothy.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Pan

Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil. Allow it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan.

  2. 4

    Cook the Eggs

Pour the whisked eggs into the pan. Let them cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.

  3. 5

    Add the Fillings

Once the eggs begin to set but are still slightly runny on top, add your chosen fillings on one half of the omelette. Use about 1/2 cup total of fillings for a single omelette.

  4. 6

    Fold the Omelette

Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the fillings. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese has melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

  5. 7

    Serve

Slide the omelette onto a plate. Cut in half if desired, and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious three-egg omelette with your choice of fillings!
