Chicken Marinade

Sandwich Assembly

Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the chicken is resting, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, grilled chicken, tomato slices, and cheese if desired. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Bake the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
