Prepare the Batter
In a mixing bowl, separate the egg whites and yolks. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Sift in the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.

Cook the Pancakes
Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cover with a lid and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the bottom is golden. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.

Make the Whipped Cream
In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and caramel sauce. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat, as it should remain pourable.

Assemble the Dish
Stack the soufflé pancakes on a plate. Generously drizzle the whipped caramel cream over the pancakes.

Slice the bananas and arrange them on top of the pancakes. Sprinkle with walnuts and dust with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
