Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Clean the champignon mushrooms and slice them. Peel and chop the onion into small pieces.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. 3

    Season the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine the diced chicken with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.

  3. 4

    Prepare the Baking Dish

Spread the seasoned chicken evenly in a baking dish.

  4. 5

    Add the Vegetables

Scatter the sliced champignon mushrooms and chopped onion over the seasoned chicken in the baking dish.

  5. 6

    Roast the Mixture

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the mushrooms and onions are tender. Stir halfway through for even cooking.

  6. 7

    Serve

Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Champignon Noir and Filet!
