Preparing the Caesar Dressing

Mince Garlic and Anchovies
Finely mince the garlic cloves and anchovy fillets to ensure they blend well into the dressing.

Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, anchovy fillets, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.

Emulsify Dressing
While continuously whisking, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the dressing is smooth and emulsified. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Assembling the Salad

Prepare Romaine Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or salad spinner, then chop or tear into bite-sized pieces.

Combine Salad Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the homemade Caesar dressing over the lettuce and toss gently to coat.

Add Croutons and Parmesan
Sprinkle the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salad. Toss gently again to combine.
