Preparation Steps
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
Prepare the Bacon
Lay the thick-cut bacon strips on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure the strips do not overlap.
Mix the Glaze
In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar, black pepper, ground cinnamon, red pepper flakes, and sea salt.
Glaze the Bacon
Brush half of the glaze mixture over the bacon strips, coating them evenly.
Bake the Bacon
Bake the bacon in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Glaze Again
After 15 minutes, remove the bacon from the oven and brush the remaining glaze over the top.
Continue Baking
Return the bacon to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.
Cool and Serve
Once done, remove the bacon from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
