Sweet Potato Chips

Method

Sweet Potato Chips

1

Prepare Sweet Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Peel the sweet potatoes using a vegetable peeler and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer.

2

Season the Sweet Potatoes

In a large bowl, combine the sliced sweet potatoes with olive oil, togarashi seasoning, and salt. Toss them together until the sweet potato slices are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning.

3

Bake the Chips

Arrange the seasoned sweet potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not overlapping to allow for even baking. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and lightly golden.

4

Cool and Serve

Once baked, remove the sweet potato chips from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. Serve them as a crunchy snack or appetizer.
