Preparation

1

Prepare the Apples

Wash the apples thoroughly under running water. Core and slice them into thin pieces, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

2

Prepare the Raisins

If the raisins are dry, soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes to plump them up. Drain and set aside.

3

Prepare the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half and juice it into a small bowl, removing any seeds. You will use this juice to prevent the apples from browning.

Mixing

4

Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, add the sliced apples and immediately drizzle with the lemon juice. Toss the apples gently to coat them evenly with the juice.

5

Add Raisins

Add the soaked and drained raisins to the bowl with the apples. Stir gently to combine all ingredients without bruising the apples.

Serving

6

Serve the SLIP

Transfer the apple and raisin mixture into a serving bowl. You can chill it in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes before serving for a refreshing taste.
