Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 cups of black tea leaves and 1 tablespoon of dried blue mallow blossoms. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea mixture into a teapot or a large heatproof pitcher to remove the leaves and blossoms.

  4. 4

    Flavor with Bergamot

Add 1 teaspoon of bergamot essential oil to the strained tea and stir well.

  5. 5

    Sweeten

Add sugar or honey to taste, stirring until fully dissolved.

  6. 6

    Serve

Pour the tea into cups and enjoy it hot, or let it cool and serve over ice for a refreshing iced tea.
