Method

Making the Crust

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

In a large bowl, combine almond flour, softened butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the egg and mix until a dough forms. Press the dough into a tart pan evenly and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Bake the Crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

Preparing the Filling

  1. 3

    Prepare the Apricots

In a bowl, toss the halved apricots with honey and lemon juice until well coated.

Assembling the Tart

  1. 4

    Fill the Tart

Arrange the apricot halves over the cooled almond crust in a decorative pattern.

  2. 5

    Add Pistachios

Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the apricots.

  3. 6

    Serve

Slice the tart and serve warm or at room temperature with scoops of vanilla ice cream on the side.
