Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patty

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Shape the mixture into a patty approximately 3/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Toppings

While the patty is cooking, slice the tomato and onion. Rinse the lettuce leaf and pat it dry. Have the pickles and mayonnaise ready.

Burger Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Once the patty is cooked, place it on the bottom half of the burger bun. Spread mayonnaise on top of the patty. Layer the lettuce, followed by tomato slices, ketchup, pickles, and onion slices. Finally, place the top half of the bun over the assembled ingredients.
