Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Ground Beef

In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Shape the seasoned ground beef into a 1/4 lb patty, ensuring it is slightly larger than the burger bun to account for shrinkage during cooking.

Cook the Burger Patty

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patty

Place the burger patty on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until it reaches your desired doneness.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 5

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  2. 6

    Prepare Onion Rings

If using frozen onion rings, cook them according to package instructions until they are golden and crispy.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Spread Mayonnaise

On the bottom half of the burger bun, spread the mayonnaise evenly.

  2. 8

    Layer the Lettuce and Tomato

Place the lettuce leaf on top of the mayonnaise, followed by the tomato slices.

  3. 9

    Add the Patty

Place the cooked burger patty on top of the tomato slices.

  4. 10

    Add BBQ Sauce

Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the burger patty.

  5. 11

Top with Onion Rings and Bacon

Layer the onion rings on top of the BBQ sauce, followed by the crispy bacon slices.

  6. 12

    Finish Assembly

Place the top half of the burger bun over the bacon to complete the burger assembly.
